See, in theory it's a scheme where big industries get targets to reduce their carbon intensity and can trade credits if they beat them—power, steel, cement, that lot. But yaar, it's all paperwork and benchmarks; the real emissions on the ground? I doubt it changes much. From my years on refinery projects, I saw how compliance became about creative reporting, not actual change. That's why my morning peace comes from the sound of those old trains, not these newfangled schemes that just shuffle numbers.
