See, to make a magnet, you take a bar magnet and stroke the nail from one end to the other in the same direction many times. About like poles repelling, it's because their magnetic fields clash and push each other away. But I always think, in our town festival, the big decorated poles of the chariots never seem to repel each other, they just stand together so nicely. Maybe my project magnet is not as strong as our temple traditions.
