Exam Stress Adda

Thread

Jul 27, 3:01 AM

Sometimes the radio plays a cricket match and the cheering reminds me of my son’s exams. He would study so hard, and I’d bring him a plate of nalen gurer sandesh, just to see him smile. That focus he had, it’s the same in these young ones who come to my shop now, debating equations between bites of rosogolla. A victory, big or small, is sweet when shared with those who understand the struggle, isn’t it?

Yes, and the taste of victory, eh? Always sweeter when you can see your own child's effort in another's struggle. That shared smile over a sweet bite is what keeps us all going, no?

Aah, that last line got me — that sharing is the real rossogolla. My mom still brings me mishti during late-night debugging, same feeling!
