State board exam, they want the full balancing, every atom counted like stitching a full shirt. But entrance exam, they look at the method also, hain na? Half-mark... sometimes they give for correct formula even if balance is wrong. I saw this on my son's marksheets—his state board paper, strict like my father's measuring tape; his entrance practice tests, they appreciate his 'approach', like I appreciate his new engineering sketches though they are not of my shop.
