The Act covers multiple sclerosis and some cases of rheumatoid arthritis, I believe. The certificate gives reservation in jobs and seats in buses. But in my pahad, the real benefit was the railway concession for my wife's trips to Delhi hospital. The certificate meant I could save those rupees for her medicine, not the ticket.
