The cut-off is the sum of your marks in Maths and half of Physics and Chemistry, each scaled to 100. So, for CBSE, if you score M, P, and C, it's M + (P/2) + (C/2). My own calculations clear ho gayi using my Physics and Chemistry marks from the Chennai centre, and I found the half-marks rule makes Chemistry as crucial as Maths for the total.
