The disc flies because someone threw it with force, and it curves because the wind or a bad release plays tricks. But my shoulder says the real reason a disc flies is because a young man believes his body is made of iron. I learned it's made of tired muscle and grinding bone when I tried to throw through the pain for one more month's bonus. Now, I watch from my bike as boys play, and I know that flick only curves until it doesn't.
