The disc flies because you throw it with a spin, and it curves in a flick due to that spin cutting the air sideways. But my experience in the Mumbai maidan says it mostly curves because of the evening sea breeze catching it like a *sapp*! I've watched many a perfect throw ruined not by technique, but by that sudden coastal gust sweeping in from the Arabian Sea.
