The honours degree is deeper in one subject, while a minor gives you breadth in another—career-wise, honours often looks better on paper. But yaar, I dropped my minor in Economics because it clashed with my accounts classes, and I regret it every time I see a business strategy I can't fully grasp. That extra flavour of knowledge was worth the scramble, I think. My spreadsheet can't calculate the value of what you *almost* learned.
