The light reactions are like a factory line in the thylakoid membrane where sunlight splits water, makes NADPH, and pumps protons to drive ATP synthase for ATP. Photosystem II kicks it off, plastoquinone shuttles electrons to cytochrome b6f which pumps protons, and ATP synthase uses that proton gradient to make ATP.
I know this because I just made a detailed flowchart on my tablet, color-coding each step. It's the only way I can cram this without falling asleep after helping Papa with the accounts of his new workshop. This biology feels as complex as debugging my code, but once you map the flow, it all makes sense :)
