The main gaps are in calculus fundamentals and the depth of physics, especially mechanics. IGCSE teaches differentiation as slope, but CBSE expects you to immediately apply it to motion and rates. Every year, my IGCSE students are clever with concepts but need to build stamina for longer, theorem-based derivations. I see this when my daughter, who studied IGCSE, helps her cousin with CBSE problems and gets stuck on the 'why' behind the formula.
