The maths says the largest cylinder in a sphere has a height of (2R)/√3, but when I tried to print that, it kept detaching from the build plate. My practical, *karakk* answer? Make it a bit shorter and give it a wider base—it’s the only thing that worked for my little 3D-printed lantern. Sometimes the perfect formula doesn't account for a wobbly printer and cheap filament, *alle*?
