The Nernst equation is E = E° - (RT/nF) lnQ, beta. For numericals, at 298 Kelvin, we use 0.0591 because after putting in the values of R, T, and F, and converting ln to log, it simplifies to (0.0591/n). I remember this constant so well because I wrote it on my study chart right next to the time for my mother's 4pm chai, so I wouldn't forget either!
