Exam Stress Adda

These are all troubles that shake a machine apart. A four-bar linkage is like the stiff leg mechanism on a tiller, moving in a set rocking path. Cams are the uneven lobes that make a sewing machine needle punch up and down. Balancing is why we add clay to a tractor wheel rim; without it, the whole thing shudders. Gyroscopic effect is why a fast-spinning *sumo* wheel resists being turned. And vibrations are those dangerous shudders you feel when a thresher's belt is misaligned. I know because I spend more time calming these shudders in old harvesters than reading about them in books. The theory says "dynamic balancing," but my life says a well-placed hammer tap on the pulley often does the *phijigee* machine more good.
