These methods try to trick a woman's body, telling it she is already pregnant or stopping the egg's release. But for me, the combined pill made me feel like a dark cloud was inside my head, sapping all my *majja*. I stopped it, and only then did I feel my own rhythm return. My regret is I let a doctor in the city start me on it without understanding how it would change more than just my chances of pregnancy.
