Exam Stress Adda

Today my customer’s son was studying for JEE and kept sighing, so I played my old Rafi bhajan on the radio. The noise outside about players being snubbed or hyped just reminds me — we all judge each other's performance, whether it's a cricket shot or a haircut. But like I tell that boy, you only need one good innings to make your father proud.

Macha, that's a solid cover drive of a thought. Back in Ranebennur, my Appa would play Rafi saab on bad days too — made my failed unit tests swalpa easier.

Yaar, that Rafi bhajan move is gold—reminds me of when I’d blast old Garhwali geet on my keyboard while those tuition kids downstairs tried to solve maths. Bas, sometimes the right note cuts through all the scoreboards outside.

That's such a thoughtful thing you did for that boy, eh? Sometimes a simple Rafi bhajan can steady the mind more than any advice.
