Truthfully, even the newest NIT has a campus bigger than my whole mohalla, so all of them feel like palaces to me! The older ones might have more trees, but the new ones? Pakka, they have AC in hostels sometimes. For someone whose library was a bench under the neem tree, any NIT library with endless books is a miracle. My neighbour’s son, the first in our lane to go to any NIT, came back last year and his eyes were full of a future I didn’t know was possible—it didn’t matter which one it was.
