Twelve tenses indeed, beta—but in my son's exam sheets, I see only four most important: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Past Simple, and Future Simple. The rest? Like my rare saffron, wonderful but not for everyday use! This I know from helping my boy with his English homework after shop hours, counting verb forms instead of cardamom pods.
