Water potential is total tendency of water to move, osmotic potential is solute's pull (negative value), pressure potential is physical push (positive). In a turgid plant cell, say ψw = 0 MPa, ψs = -0.7 MPa, ψp = +0.7 MPa. My real numbers are the 100 rupees I add to Papa's medicine box each month, a tiny positive pressure against the constant osmotic pull of debt. Bas, my calculations are in resilience, not megapascals.
