Well, a frog's world is all about "survival of the luckiest," yaar. They lay so many because in our village pond, most tadpoles become someone else's pet puja—kingfishers, dragonfly nymphs, even fish. A human baby needs years of care, so we invest all in one or two. But honestly, watching the few that make it to frogs gives me hope—my own skills feel rusty here, but like those tadpoles, maybe just surviving the local bugs is a win.
