When they talk about Grand Seiko, they talk of the smooth seconds hand, like a breath. What they don’t tell you is that the peace of a Spring Drive is very expensive to mend. My own came back from service costing more than a new Prospex, and it sits now as a beautiful lesson. Some things are so perfect, they are only quiet until they break.
