Yaar, drawing that circuit is easy – just make a loop with cell, bulb, and switch in a box diagram. Open switch breaks the loop, so current can't flow to light the bulb. Seriously, I see this at my uncle's shop when a wire comes loose and the tube light won't start. It's exactly like when my father's old sewing machine at the loom stops if the foot pedal isn't pressed – no connection, no work.
