Yaar, everyone thinks we make twenty-thousand easy, but after Ola's commission, petrol, and car EMI, some months I bring home barely ten thousand if the rides are slow. My own Maruti Dzire's EMI itself is a big chunk. The thing is, people in our city use autos more for short trips, so you sit idle for hours waiting for that one long ride to the railway station. Just last week, I had to skip buying my daughter new school books because the app was showing no surge at all.
