Yaar, it's not really posted twice—it's just once in the Profit & Loss Account and once in the Balance Sheet, so the same amount shows in two places. That’s what makes the final accounts actually “final,” you see. I know because teaching this after my shift, with my back aching in this plastic chair, I see how students get confused thinking it's extra work, when really it's just connecting two statements, like my night connects to my family's morning.
