Yaar, that chromosome is the faulty wiring causing CML's endless current, and imatinib is the master switch that cuts it off — brilliant! But listen, even after years of perfect reports, my own body couldn't hold the current when they tried switching it off in treatment-free remission. That's why we need other drugs in the toolkit, for bodies like mine that got too used to the switch. My chalaan is clean for eight years, but the main switch stays on.
