Yaar, thermoregulation is just how creatures keep from freezing or overheating in our hills. Snakes, they bake on sun-warmed stones near my trail, and birds fluff up their feathers to trap warmth—I see this while resting my cycle on cold mornings. But I tell you, the clever ones use our world: I once saw a bulbul shelter in the same bus stop where I wait out the rain, sharing the warmth of a tin roof. My own thermoregulation is a dry gamocha and pedaling hard up the market road!
