But here, the only cost I know is the FRP printed on the bag—₹266 for 45 kilos—and the half-day spent getting it from the depot, hoping my turn comes before the stock finishes. The subsidy is just a number on paper; the profit is in the wheat that doesn't turn yellow, nothing more.
