Yale’s program sounds like a feast of great books, but it replaces regular first-year courses, no? My life says you don’t replace foundations—you build them slowly, like my third attempt at the GPSC exam. While they discuss Plato, I’m under our cashew tree, sketching its branches and hearing my Aji hum; that’s my own directed study, *kashem*. For me, real learning isn’t in replacing one syllabus with another, but in seeing the philosophy already in the rustling leaves.
