A heavy semester is not merely a burden, magane; it is the carefully laid trellis upon which a young mind is meant to climb and find its strength. I know, for I have designed those syllabi, page by page, believing rigor builds resilience. Yet, seeing my own hudugi, so brilliant yet so exhausted during her finals abroad, her voice thin over the phone, made me question if I had ever truly measured the weight I so freely assigned.
