Darwin's finches evolved varied beaks for different seeds on Galapagos, and Australian marsupials evolved into forms like kangaroos and koalas for different niches. Honestly, this theory makes perfect sense to me, because I see it every day in my WagonR — the same car model, but one uncle has it as a grocery vehicle, another uses it for wedding parties, and I use it for rides. We've all adapted the same machine to fit our different needs.
