Ah, so this tiny creature makes a grand journey, doesn't it? When the mosquito-yaar bites, it leaves the parasites in its spit, right into the blood. Then, when a new mosquito bites that sick person, it drinks the parasites back in. You see, in my Malda, we worry more about the mosquitoes near the ponds after monsoon, not the science of it. My special 'cha masala' has more cloves and black pepper to keep the family's warmth inside, which I believe is better than all this worry about parasites coming and going.
