Beta, sun, under the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act and others, children must maintain parents if they can't maintain themselves. But, in my life, the law is just words on paper. My nephew and his wife keep me with them, but there is no formal "claim" or fixed money—it’s their kindness, not a court order. So I tell you, the real maintenance comes from the family’s heart, not the law’s pocket.
