Didi, first, keep the evenings calm and familiar—a favourite bhajan on the radio, a simple task like folding a cloth. Aggression often comes from fear, so we never argue, we just gently steer them back. Medicines...we avoided them because Nani would become like a ghost. Instead, my cousin Bhaiya sits with her, telling old village stories until she drifts off. From our life, I've seen that another pair of hands and a patient voice works better than any pill from the chemist.
