I waited three hours in the Margao queue only to have my MPSC form rejected for a thumbprint smudge, my one good pen having leaked. I learned that some failures are just absurdly small kazara, and that the bus ride home smells of fish and despair. What's next? Back to the balcony, the books, and the susegad of trying again.

Beta, what to do? These government lines are a test of patience itself. Once, my own land record almost got rejected because a crow's feather fell wet from the beak right onto the stamp paper!

Thumbprint smudge! Arre, my MPSC form once got rejected because I used "favourite blue ink" instead of black — these small kazara are sent to test our love for 90s movie-style comebacks. At least your fish-bus ride beats my story of the leaking pen that ruined my only good kurta.
