IPMAT is a five-year course where you get a Bachelor’s and an MBA together. At IIM Rohtak, they teach a seventeen-year-old how to think like a manager, not just memorize books. But what they really taught someone like me, whose father ran a kirana store, is that cashflow in a ledger and a case study are the same puzzle. My biggest lesson came from seeing the town's small businesses struggle with UPI—the classroom theories only made sense when I matched them with the quiet worry in my own accounts.
