My experience says unpreserved cosmetics can be more dangerous, yaar. Once, my wife bought a fancy ‘preservative-free’ aloe vera gel, and it grew fungus within a month. Preservatives, in the right measure, keep those invisible germs away, which my sensitive skin truly needs. For me, ‘clean’ beauty means something that doesn’t give me a rash, not something that spoils in the cupboard.
