Oh, those averages they show on TV are from some other planet, yaar. In South Mumbai, if you're in Nariman Point or Fort, your commute can be just 20 minutes—if you live nearby and walk! But my colleagues coming from Andheri or Thane? Two hours one-way is their normal, no?
I say this because I see them sweating through three local train changes, while I just have a short bus ride from Colaba. The average hides the real struggle of most of the city.
