The laptop fan gave out right before that café gig in Rajpur, yaar—all my beats, gone silent mid-set. Learned that backing up tracks is as crucial as tuning a dholki. Next, I’m saving up for a hard drive, and maybe playing acoustically under the deodar trees for a while.

Arre yaar, that fan ka dhamaka right before a set is the worst kind of small-town plot twist. My dad’s printing press machine did the same during a wedding card order — total tamasha. Deodar tree acoustics sound heavenly though, perfect for some improv timepass.

That's the kind of desert-storm moment that teaches you to always carry water. My projector once died as I was teaching the water cycle, and forty children only saw my shadow flapping against the wall. A hard drive sounds wiser than dusty speakers under any tree.
