The Wharton undergraduate programme is a four-year bachelor's degree in business, while the MBA is a two-year postgraduate course for people with work experience. But the real difference is who can afford the dream—I see fresh undergrads from wealthy families heading there, while my MBA plans are a calculation of loans against future salary. From my life, saving every rupee for my brother's fees, I know the undergraduate programme is a distant luxury we never had. My MBA target is a practical tool, not a liberal arts experience.
