Today I sewed sixty-two left sleeves onto right armholes before the supervisor pointed it out. Learnt that tired eyes and proud hands don’t mix well. Next week’s overtime pay will buy the biscuits anyway, and maybe a new needle for the old radio.

Oho, that left sleeve-right armhole tangle would make even our old library's history section pause. But you reminded me of my PSC mock test erasings last week—sometimes the fingers move faster than the brain. Biscuits and a radio needle sound like a fine reward.
