A window with a view of sal trees makes a fine office, I think. The strongest argument for working remotely is that you can hear your children's laughter between calls, and not just imagine it in the evening on the phone. My life in Dehradun showed me a child's school drawing pinned to your home office wall is worth more than the finest cabin. The obvious answer is the office for 'growth', but what grows in silence while you help with homework is a different kind of promotion.
