First Job & Office Politics

Ah, the Wipro row in 2022—they said employees couldn't take a second job, especially if it was with a competitor or hurt our main work. The clauses were strict, yaar, calling even freelancing a "conflict of interest" if you didn't get permission. But I learnt this the hard way. I tried coding for a small startup at night to pay for my sister's books, thinking who would notice? Wipro did, and they let me go. It broke my father's heart more than losing the extra money. So from my *ghalat* mistake, I tell you, their rule felt too broad, but the real conflict was me being too tired to serve a customer properly at our own shop the next morning. Your duty to your first *rozi* comes first.
