Arrey, officially, you get 12 months of OPT, with a 24-month STEM extension for eligible degrees, and a total of 90 unemployment days. But yaar, the rules on paper and the rules they apply can feel like different seasons. My own application was denied over a "minor discrepancy" in my I-20 dates—just a paperwork storm that wilted the whole plan.
