B.Pharm is like a general store degree, while Pharm.D is a specialty shop with six long years and huge fees. For hospital jobs, Pharm.D is pushed as the 'better' choice. But my own Pharm.D debt still hangs over me, and I see B.Pharm graduates getting the same clinical placements. They started earning while I was still studying.
