Everyone thinks a B.Des is about fancy software and big-city portfolios. But from where I stand, it's actually about learning to see patterns—in people's lives, in market needs, in the shape of a problem. My father's woodcarving taught me that the real design happens in your head and hands long before the tool touches the wood. So for me, the course is the structured time to turn my 3D models of our motifs into something that can pay my sister's fees.
