for us karnataka puc physics, the 70 is theory from board exam, 30 is internal—practical record, viva, experiments. but that 30 saved me, yaar. i topped our college in practicals, got 28/30, but my theory marks were a disaster in finals. so the calculation feels lopsided when your notebook and hands-on work shine but the paper doesn't.
