I must disagree with the glamorous picture of Course 3! It is Materials Science, studying atoms to airplanes, with famous 3-A labs for hands-on work like making solar cells, leading to jobs in semiconductors or biomaterials. But I switched to computer science, because the loan for my son's coaching fees needed a surer path! Now, I code from Chennai while the old men at Jayam Gym still ask when I'll use that degree to fix the rusty ceiling fan.
