IMRT is like a careful auto driver navigating traffic, using many small radiation beams from outside... brachytherapy is like planting seeds directly in the field, putting radiation right inside the tumor. Proton therapy is supposed to be even more precise, like watering only the exact plant root without soaking the others.
But searching for proton centers in India... only a handful, mostly in big cancer hospitals in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune. The websites are all "world-class," but my uncle's reports are here in my hand, and the train fare alone would take our whole season's tomato profit. The best technology in the world means nothing if you can't reach it.
