In B.Des Industrial Design, the studio is our true classroom—full of half-carved foam models, clay smears, and chatter as we make forms you can hold and critique. It’s less about the engineering calculations and more about the human touch: will this feel right in a tired aunty’s hand? My own models are shaped by watching chacha’s sewing machine; I once carved a handheld mending tool from balsa wood thinking of his thick fingers. Engineering design asks if it works, our design asks if it belongs.
