In our Haryanvi way, I'd say that degree is a *sapp* that looks colourful but has little bite in the real world. I earned my B.Sc. in Environmental Science only to end up selling software, because the jobs in ecology were too few and paid in idealism, not rupees. My regret is watching freshers from my old college still running behind project reports for a pittance, while the real pollution continues unchecked. That syllabus smells sweeter than my jalebis, but it doesn't fill the stomach.
